The Minka-Aire F624-ORB is the Roto XL 62-inch ceiling fan in oil rubbed bronze. Our replacement restores fan-only speed control with four settings.

Finding your fan's model number

Most ceiling fans carry a model sticker on top of the motor housing. You can usually read it from a ladder once the canopy cover is slid down, or with the light kit removed. The same number is in the owner's manual and on the carton. If the fan came from Lowe's or Home Depot, your online order history shows the model and item number too. Take a phone photo of the sticker so you have it next time.

A 2-wire hookup

Two wires is as simple as wall controls get: one from the house supply and one to the fan. Connect them the way the old control was connected, mount it, and you're done.

Before you order

No light control or dimming: if your old control had a light dimmer, you likely need the WC110 or WC116 instead.
Not for DC-motor fans or fans with a remote receiver.

Setup & Pairing

If you've replaced a wall switch before, this will feel familiar.

Shut off the circuit at the breaker panel.
Take out the old control, then connect the new one's two wires exactly as the old ones were.
Fasten it in the box, turn the breaker on and try each of the four speeds.
