About the Progress Lighting P2613-30 Wall Control

A worn or failed P2613-30 doesn't mean a new fan. This wall control restores four fan speeds from a simple slide control. Remove the wall plate and look at the body of the old wall control: the P2613-30 number is on its label. The original is a white slide control, 2.75 by 4.56 inches, numbered 1 to 4 with 1 as the fastest.

If P2613-30 is the number on your old wall control, you're in the right place. Installation is a standard hard-wired swap with the included wire nuts.

Fan speed only

This control sets fan speed and nothing else. If your fan has a light, it needs its own switch. For fan and light on one control, Progress Lighting's dual control with a dimmer is the better fit.

At 2.75 by 4.56 inches, it matches the original's size, so it fits the same box and plate opening without surprises.

Before you order

Fan speed only: it does not control or dim a light. For fan plus light dimming, use the P2630-30.
Not for multiple fans on one control.

Setup & Pairing

Plan on about half an hour, and have a voltage tester handy.

Turn off power at the breaker.
Connect the control's wires to the fan wires in the wall box with the included wire nuts.
Mount the control, attach the wall plate, restore power and set the fan's pull chain to high.

Tuck the wires neatly into the box so the control sits flat.
