About the Progress Lighting P2505 Wall Control

The Progress Lighting P2505 is a remote-ready AirPro ceiling fan with a receiver installed in the fan. Our replacement wall control restores low, medium and high plus light on/off and dimming.

If the sticker on your fan's motor housing says P2505, you've found the right page. It wires in where the old one was and works with the receiver already in the fan.

With or without the handheld

The original control was designed to work alongside the fan's handheld remote or in its place. Keep the handheld on the nightstand and the wall control by the door, or use the wall control on its own.

Not a slide control

Progress Lighting also made slide-style wall controls for AirPro fans without a receiver. Those wire straight to the motor and work differently. This one is for remote-ready AirPro fans with a receiver in the fan.

Before you order

Not the same as the P2630-30 or P2613-30 slide controls, which are wired for pull-chain fans without a receiver.
Not for fans from other brands or Progress fans outside the AirPro remote-ready models.

Setup & Pairing

If you've replaced a wall switch before, this will feel familiar.

Shut off the circuit at the breaker panel.
Take out the old control and label each wire as you disconnect it.
Wire the new control exactly like the old one, then mount it and add the switch plate.
Turn the breaker back on and try each speed and the light; if nothing happens, match the control to the receiver using the included instructions.

Keep the instructions with your fan's manual for next time.
