About the Hampton Bay UC-9051T Wall Control

Our UC-9051T replacement wall control is the up/down-light version, designed for Hampton Bay, Harbor Breeze and Emerson fans with separate up and down lights. It brings back three speeds, off, reverse, and dimming for each light, right from your wall box.

It is made for fans that came with the up/down-light UC-9051T control. Check your old control: if it reads UC-9051T and has an up-light button and a down-light button, this is the one you need. Match four DIP switches to your receiver and wire it in.

Before you order

Your old control should have separate up-light and down-light buttons. If it has only one light button, order our single-light version instead.
To run both lights separately, your fan needs an up/down-light receiver such as the UC7067GMRX or FAN28R-UD. With a single-light receiver like the UC7067FMRX, only one light will work.
Wall control only. It does not include a receiver.

Setup & Pairing

Turn off power to the fan and the wall switch at the breaker.
Remove the old wall control from the box, noting how it was wired.
Find the four DIP (code) switches on the receiver in the fan canopy and on the new wall control.
Set the wall control's switches to exactly match the receiver with a pen tip. If both are on the factory setting, pick a new pattern and set it on both.
Wire the control into the box following the included wiring diagram, then mount it to the box.
Restore power at the breaker and test each button, including up-light and down-light.

How do I know this is the right UC-9051T?

How do I pair the UC-9051T with my fan?

Does it dim LED bulbs?

It dims incandescent bulbs and many dimmable LED bulbs. Results with LEDs depend on the bulb.
