About the Progress Lighting P2506 Wall Control

The Progress Lighting P2506 is a remote-ready AirPro ceiling fan with a receiver installed in the fan. This control gives it three speeds plus off and light control again, using the receiver already in the fan.

This page covers the Progress Lighting P2506 only, so match the sticker and you're set. It's powered by your house wiring, so there are no batteries.

No batteries, ever

Because it's wired into the wall box, this control runs on house power. There's no battery to wear out and nothing to lose between couch cushions. It's always right where you left it.

If the fan doesn't respond

After you restore power, test every function. If the fan and light don't respond, follow the included instructions to match the control to the fan's receiver. Then try each speed and the light again.

Before you order

Not for fans from other brands or Progress fans outside the AirPro remote-ready models.
Does not include a receiver: your fan must already have the AirPro receiver that came with it.

Setup & Pairing

Take a photo of the old wiring before you disconnect anything.

Switch off the breaker that feeds the wall box.
Remove the old wall control, noting which wire went where.
Wire the new control exactly like the old one, then mount it and add the switch plate.
Switch the power on and test. No response means the control needs matching to the receiver, which the instructions explain.

Test the circuit with a voltage tester before touching any wire.
