About the Fanimation TW32WH Wall Control

When the TW32WH on your wall stops working, you lose easy control of the fan. This replacement brings back independent up-light and down-light dimming plus six fan speeds. With the wall plate off, TW32WH is printed on the label on the side or back of the old wall control. The original has separate up-light and down-light buttons, which this version matches.

It's made to stand in for the TW32WH on Fanimation fans. After wiring, a press of SET starts a short learning run, and then it's ready.

Built-in protection

If something blocks the blades for 30 seconds, the fan stops. It also shuts down if motor power goes over 80W. Both protect the motor and the control.

Two lights, set separately

The up light and the down light each have their own control and their own dimming. Wash the ceiling with soft light from above and keep the down light low, or the reverse, whatever suits the room.

Before you order

Needs a neutral wire in the wall box.
Not for AC-motor fans; DC-motor fans only.

Setup & Pairing

You'll need a neutral wire in the box; check before you start.

Shut off the fan's circuit at the breaker.
Remove the faceplate and install the 12V A23 battery.
Set the same code on the control's switches and, if present, the receiver's.
Connect the control in the wall box, mount it and turn the breaker back on.
Within 60 seconds of restoring power, press and hold SET for 1-5 seconds.
Expect the fan to run forward and reverse for about 5 minutes before it stops. Then it's ready.
Repeat this setup any time you change the blades.
