About the Casablanca 59107 Receiver

Owners of the Casablanca 59107 control everything with the RH787T handheld, and the receiver in the canopy is what hears it. A failed receiver leaves you with a fan you cannot run. This replacement fixes that with a canopy swap and a short pairing step.

Check the label on the fan's motor housing: 59107 means you are in the right place. The swap happens at the canopy, then it pairs with your RH787T.

Photograph the wiring

Before you disconnect the old receiver, take a clear photo of every connection. It is the quickest way to put the new one back exactly the same way, and it is the first thing our team will ask for if you call.

Light and dimming

The receiver powers the fan light, with on/off and dimming from the RH787T. If your bulbs are LEDs and flicker when dimmed, set the remote's light switch in the battery compartment to on/off only.

Before you order

Have the fan's power off at the breaker before you lower the canopy.
Receiver only. The remote is not included; it works with the RH787T remote.

Setup & Pairing

Switch off the breaker that feeds the fan.
Lower the canopy of your fan to reach the old receiver.
Before disconnecting anything, take a photo of how the old receiver is wired. Then disconnect it.
Connect the replacement receiver the same way, keeping the connections secure, and tuck it neatly back into the canopy.
Raise the canopy, tighten its screws and turn the breaker back on.
Within 60 seconds of power returning, press Set on your RH787T. The fan runs in both directions for about 5 minutes, then stops when pairing is done.
Check off, all six speeds, reverse and the light.

Tip: a helper on the ground saves trips up and down the ladder.
