Lost the remote for the Home Decorators Collection YG908J-MWH? This replacement gives you full control of the Celene II again: nine fan speeds, forward and reverse, light on, off and dim, plus a 2, 4 or 8-hour timer.

Getting the timing right

The receiver only listens for a new remote for a short time after power returns, normally 30 seconds. Have the batteries in, the cover off and your finger near the Learn button before you restore power. If you miss the window, just cut power again and repeat.

Before you order

Setup & Pairing

Have the remote in hand before you touch the power, since timing matters.

Slide off the battery cover of the remote, load two AAA batteries, and keep the cover off.
Move the small slide switch inside the compartment to position 1.
Switch the fan's power off, either at the wall or at the breaker panel, and turn it back on.
Press the Learn button once, within 30 seconds of power coming back.
Success looks like a light flash plus turning blades. Otherwise, repeat from the top.

Tip: check the slide switch first if pairing does not take.
