About the Hampton Bay UC7067RC Receiver
When the UC7067RC receiver in your fan quits, the remote stops doing anything. This downlight-only UC7067RC replacement brings back three fan speeds plus off and one light with on/off and dimming, for fans with a single downlight or no light at all.
It is made for fans that came with a downlight-only UC7067RC, like the Hampton Bay Windward IV 52-in and Miramar II 60-in. Check your old receiver's label and count its light leads, then match four DIP switches to your remote and wire it in.

Power off at the breaker
A wall switch can leave the ceiling box live, so always shut off the fan's breaker before lowering the canopy. Check with the wall switch that the fan and light are dead before you touch any wires, and keep the breaker off until the canopy is back up.
Testing after install
With the canopy back up and the breaker on, test in order: low, medium, high and off, then the light on, off and dimmed. If one function is missing, the matching wire is usually loose under its nut.
Before you order
- Two versions carry the UC7067RC name. This one is downlight-only. If your fan has an uplight too, choose our up and down light UC7067RC receiver instead.
- Not for timer or thermostat remotes such as the Hampton Bay FAN9T or CHQ7096T. Those fans need a thermostatic receiver.
Setup & Pairing
- Cut power at the breaker before you loosen the canopy.
- Set the receiver's four DIP switches to the same pattern as the switches in your remote's battery compartment (or on your wall control). They ship set to a default position, so don't skip this step.
- Wire it in with the included nuts: ground to ground, AC-in black and white to the house wires, motor white and black to the fan, and the blue light lead to the blue light wire.
- Keep the antenna flat on top as you tuck the receiver and wires into the box.
- Reinstall the canopy, turn the breaker back on and test each speed and the light.

Is this the downlight-only or the up/down light UC7067RC?
This is the downlight-only version. It has one light lead for a single downlight. If your fan has an uplight too, order our up and down light UC7067RC receiver.
Can I add it to a fan that only has pull chains?
Yes, it can add remote control to a standard 3-speed AC pull-chain fan, as long as the receiver fits in the canopy.
Which remotes work with it?
It works with remotes like the UC7078T, HD5, UC7083T, UC7070T, UC7216T, FAN35T, FAN51T, FAN53TW and Harbor Breeze KUJCE9103, plus the UC9051T wall control and FAN-55T wall plate.
Why won't the fan respond after I installed it?
The switches ship in a default position, so the fan won't respond until they match your remote. Recheck all four against the switches in your remote.
Will it dim my LED bulbs?
For dimming, use incandescent bulbs or LEDs marked dimmable. CFL bulbs aren't supported, and non-dimmable bulbs may only switch on and off.
