Your TG44BNK3D1RC is a 44-in Harbor Breeze Beach Creek ceiling fan with a brushed nickel finish and built-in LED light. At Lowe's it carried item number 803772. Remote control problems on a fan this age usually trace back to the receiver hidden above the fan. Swap in this receiver and you get three speeds, off and light dimming back on the remote.

The model label on top of the motor housing should read TG44BNK3D1RC; if it does, you are in the right place. There are no DIP switches to set; it learns your remote in about 30 seconds.

Test before you finish

Before the last canopy screw goes in, run each speed for a moment, turn the light on and off and try dimming. Fixing a loose connection is much easier now than after everything is buttoned up. Then secure the canopy and enjoy the fan.

Setup & Pairing

Start with the breaker: turn it off and check that the fan is dead.
Remove the canopy cover and unhook the old receiver, keeping track of every wire.
Make the same connections with the new receiver, tug-test each wire nut and fold the wires in neatly.
Power down any other nearby fans first; otherwise they could pair to the same remote.
Restore power, then within about 30 seconds hold the 0 (fan off) button on the remote until the light blinks twice.
Try low, medium and high, then the light, before closing up the canopy.
