About the Hampton Bay REV-A7067B-20 Reverse Module

Replace a worn-out REV-A7067B-20 and get one-press direction changes from your remote. Look for REV-A7067B-20 on the module's label once the switch housing cover is off. You'll see it connected by a plug to the fan's wiring, not wired in with nuts.

Made for fans that came with the REV-A7067B-20. Plug it in where the old one was and the reverse button works again.

Plug-and-play

The module connects to the fan's wiring with a plug. Unplug the old one, plug in the new one the same way, and secure it. There are no code switches and nothing to program; your remote and receiver keep their settings.

AC fans only

This module is for AC fans with UC7067 or FAN28R receivers. DC-motor fans handle reverse differently and don't use it.

Before you order

Only for fans that came with a separate reverse module from the factory. It cannot add reverse to a fan that never had one.
Not for fans that reverse with a slide switch on the motor housing.

Setup & Pairing

You'll need a ladder and a screwdriver.

Shut off the fan's circuit at the breaker.
Take off the switch housing or canopy cover to get to the module.
Photograph the old module's connection and unplug it.
Connect the new module exactly as the old one was and secure it.
Put the housing back, turn the breaker on and try reverse from your remote or wall control.

Keep the old module until the new one works.

Which direction should the fan turn in winter?

Clockwise on a low speed, seen from below. In summer, run it counterclockwise for a cooling downdraft.
