About the Hampton Bay UC7067FMRX Receiver
The UC7067FMRX is a downlight-only receiver that fits inside the canopy of most standard 3-speed AC fans. This replacement handles high, medium, low and off, and one light circuit with on/off and dimming.
If the label on your old receiver reads UC7067FMRX, this is the match. It pairs through four DIP switches with remotes like the UC7078T, UC7083T and FAN35T, and with the UC9051T wall control.

No light kit? Cap the leads
Plenty of fans have no light. You can still use this receiver for fan control. Cap each light lead with its own wire nut so the bare ends are covered, tuck them into the canopy and wire the rest as usual.

Before you order
- This receiver is downlight-only. If your fan has an uplight too, choose our up and down light receiver instead.
- Not for DC-motor fans or CFL bulbs, and it doesn't add reverse.
Setup & Pairing
Plan on a screwdriver, a step ladder and a helper to steady the ladder.
- Turn off power to the fan at the breaker, then lower the canopy.
- Match the four DIP switches to your remote or wall control. They come in a default position, so this step matters.
- Join the green ground to the bare house ground, then the AC-in leads to the house black and white, the motor leads to the fan's white and black wires, and blue to blue for the light.
- Lay the black antenna wire flat on top of the receiver and push the wires up into the box.
- Close the canopy, restore power and try all three speeds, off and the light.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it run an uplight?
No. It controls one light circuit, so it suits fans with a single downlight or no light. For an uplight as well, choose our up and down light receiver.
What if my old receiver has a different number?
Check the label on the receiver in your canopy. This one is made for UC7067FMRX; for other numbers search our store or contact us at (816) 586-8457 or info@fanremotes.com.
My fan has no light kit. Can I still use it?
Yes. Cap the receiver's light leads with wire nuts during install and use it for fan control only.
What do I do with the antenna wire?
Lay it flat on top of the receiver before you push it into the canopy. Don't cut it or wrap it around other wires.
What comes in the box?
The replacement receiver, wire nuts and instructions.
