About the Progress Lighting P2527 Wall Control

The Progress Lighting P2527 is a remote-ready AirPro ceiling fan with a receiver installed in the fan. Swap in this control and you're back to low, medium and high plus light on/off and dimming.

Confirm the model number on the fan's label before you order; this page is for the P2527. It wires in where the old one was and works with the receiver already in the fan.

Caring for the control

Wipe the face with a soft, barely damp cloth. Don't spray cleaner directly on it, because liquid can work its way past the controls into the box. If it gets warm during use, that's normal for a speed control. If it ever gets hot, smells, or buzzes loudly, turn it off at the breaker and contact us.

If the fan doesn't respond

After you restore power, test every function. If the fan and light don't respond, follow the included instructions to match the control to the fan's receiver. Then try each speed and the light again.

Before you order

Not for fans from other brands or Progress fans outside the AirPro remote-ready models.
Does not include a receiver: your fan must already have the AirPro receiver that came with it.

Setup & Pairing

Plan on about half an hour, and have a voltage tester handy.

Turn off power at the breaker.
Take out the old control and label each wire as you disconnect it.
Make the same connections on the new control, fold the wires in, and fasten it with the included hardware and plate.
Restore power and test fan speeds and the light. If the fan does not respond, follow the included instructions to match the control to the fan's receiver.

Tuck the wires neatly into the box so the control sits flat.
