About the Minka-Aire F624-ABD Wall Control

The Minka-Aire F624-ABD is the Roto XL 62-inch ceiling fan in brushed aluminum. Swap in this control and you're back to fan-only speed control with four settings.

It is made for the Minka-Aire F624-ABD. Check the model sticker on the fan: if it reads F624-ABD, this is the wall control you need. Installation is a simple 2-wire swap with the breaker off.

Pull chain settings

If your fan has a pull chain or built-in speed control, set it to high and let the wall control set the speed.

Fan only

This control runs fan speed only. It has no light control or dimmer, so any light on the circuit needs its own switch. If your old control dimmed a light, it was a different model.

Before you order

Based on its product line, we expect the F624-ABD to use this wall control. Compare your old wall control with our photos, or send us a picture before you order.
No light control or dimming: if your old control had a light dimmer, you likely need the WC110 or WC116 instead.
Not for DC-motor fans or fans with a remote receiver.

Setup & Pairing

Work with the breaker off from start to finish.

Switch off the breaker that feeds the wall box.
Disconnect the old control and wire the new one to the same two house wires.
Mount the control, switch the power back on and run through all four speeds.

If anything about the wiring looks unfamiliar, stop and call a licensed electrician.
