About the Minka-Aire F569 Remote

Minka-Aire sells the 52-inch Supra ceiling fan with five blades as model F569. This remote gives it three speeds and light dimming from up to about 30 feet again, without changing anything in the fan.

This page covers the Minka-Aire F569 only, so match the sticker and you're set. It works with your fan's 304 MHz DIP-switch receiver once the switches match.

  • Wall bracket and screws included
  • 9V battery, sold separately
  • 304 MHz
  • 3 speeds + off

Dimming and bulbs

The light key turns the light on and off and dims it. Dimming works with incandescent and dimmable bulbs. If you use LED bulbs, choose ones marked dimmable, or keep a non-dimmable bulb at full brightness.

When matching switches doesn't help

If every switch matches and a fresh 9V is in, but the fan still won't answer, the receiver may be the problem. Check that the wall switch is on and the pull chains are set to high and on. If it still won't respond, call us before you buy anything else.

Before you order

  • Check the model sticker on your fan before you order.
  • Your fan needs a 304 MHz 4-DIP-switch receiver, such as the FAN28R or UC7067FMRX. This remote does not include a receiver.

Setup & Pairing

If your old remote is still around, you can copy its switches instead of the receiver's.

  1. Open the battery door to find the four code switches.
  2. Find the code switches on your fan's receiver (usually in the canopy) and note their up/down pattern.
  3. Copy that pattern onto the remote, switch for switch. There's nothing to program.
  4. Snap in a 9V battery, then test each speed and the light, rechecking the switches if needed.

Two fans in one room? Give each its own pattern.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this replacement remote for the Minka-Aire F569 fit my ceiling fan?

It fits the 1 model listed under Compatible Models on this page. If your model isn’t listed, call us at (816) 586-8457 and we’ll check for you.

What battery does it use?

One 9V battery. It is not included.

How do I make the new remote talk to my fan?

Open the battery cover and set the four code switches to match the switches on the receiver in your fan. That's the whole setup.

I have two fans in one room. Will one remote run both?

Give each fan's receiver and remote a different switch pattern so each remote controls only its own fan.

Can one remote run two fans?

We recommend one remote per fan. Give each fan its own so one button never moves both, and label each one with its room.

Where do I find my fan's model number?

Look for a sticker on top of the motor housing, or check the owner's manual or the carton. Store order history from Lowe's or Home Depot also lists it.

When will my order ship?

In-stock orders placed by 4 PM, Monday to Friday, ship the same business day.

What is your return policy?

You can return items within 90 days. Items must be unused and uninstalled, in their original packaging. No restocking fees. Please read our return policy before sending anything back. Questions? Call (816) 586-8457 or email info@fanremotes.com.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Every product we sell comes with a 1-year warranty against defects. If it fails because of a defect, contact us and we’ll send a replacement.
