About the Casablanca C66U11B Receiver

This replacement receiver is made for the Casablanca C66U11B DC ceiling fan. It mounts in the canopy where the old one sat, connects the same way, and learns your RH787T remote during a short setup run after a power cycle.

Your fan's model number is on the motor housing label; when it reads C66U11B, this receiver is made for it. The swap happens at the canopy, then it pairs with your RH787T.

Receiver or remote: which failed?

Start with the cheap test: put a fresh battery in your RH787T remote. If the fan still ignores every button, and the wall switch and breaker are on, the receiver is the likely culprit. A receiver can also fail partway, running one speed or leaving the light stuck on.

Remote battery tips

The remote battery is not part of this order. If your remote has been weak, fit a new battery before pairing so the learning step goes smoothly. Keep spares in a cool, dry place.

Before you order

Not for AC-motor Casablanca fans or Casablanca 4-speed universal receiver systems.
Not a universal receiver. It is made for Casablanca DC fans that came with the RH787T remote.

Setup & Pairing

Cut power at the breaker panel and confirm the fan is dead.
Loosen the canopy screws and slide the canopy down to expose the receiver.
Photograph the wiring, then disconnect the old receiver.
Connect the replacement receiver the same way, keeping the connections secure, and tuck it neatly back into the canopy.
Reinstall the canopy and restore power at the breaker.
Press the Set button on your RH787T within 60 seconds of restoring power, and wait about 5 minutes while the fan runs both ways.
Check off, all six speeds, reverse and the light.

Tip: a helper on the ground saves trips up and down the ladder.
