Why receivers wear out

Before you order

Setup & Pairing

You need a ladder, a screwdriver and a voltage tester.

1. Cut power at the breaker panel, not just the wall switch.
2. Lower the canopy and disconnect the old receiver, noting which wire went where.
3. Wire in the new receiver lead for lead, following your photo, and twist each wire nut snug.
4. Make sure other fans with learning receivers are switched off, so only this one learns the remote.
5. Bring the power back and press and hold the remote's 0 button within about 30 seconds; let go when the light blinks twice.
6. Try low, medium and high, then the light, before closing up the canopy.
