About the Aire 04623 Remote

Moved into a house where the Hi-Wind 04623 stayed but the remote didn't? This replacement covers everything the fan's receiver can do: three speeds, off, and the light with dimming.

It is made for the Aire Hi-Wind 52-in, model 04623. Read the label on the motor housing to confirm, then match four DIP switches to the receiver in the canopy.

About this fan's receiver

This fan uses a UC7067RC receiver in its canopy, a 304 MHz unit with four DIP switches. That is what this remote talks to, so pairing is simply a matter of matching the switches on both.

Speeds through the year

High suits hot afternoons, medium is a good all-day setting, and low is quiet enough for sleeping. In winter, many people run the fan on low in reverse to move warm air off the ceiling, using the switch on the motor housing.

Before you order

Your fan needs a matching 4-DIP-switch receiver, such as the UC7067FMRX or FAN28R. This remote does not include a receiver.
If your old remote has separate up-light and down-light buttons, compare it with our product photos before you order.

Setup & Pairing

Put in a 12V A23 battery and close the cover.
Switch off the fan's circuit at the breaker panel.
Open the canopy and note the up/down pattern on the receiver's switches.
Match the remote's four DIP switches to the receiver, one switch at a time.
Restore power and test each speed and the light.

No programming is involved; the switches do all the work.

In the box: Replacement remote for the 04623 fan and a wall mount with screws. Battery not included.
