Battery care

This remote runs on one 12V A23 battery, a small cylinder that's easy to confuse with an AAA. Insert it with the positive end toward the top. When buttons start needing a second press, or the remote only works up close, swap the battery. If the remote will sit unused for months, take the battery out to avoid leaks.

Battery changes and pairing

Swapping the battery doesn't normally undo pairing, because the fan's receiver has already learned the remote's code. If the fan stops responding after a battery change, first check that the new battery is seated the right way round. If it still won't answer, run the pairing steps again; it takes about a minute.

Before you order

Dim the LED light with the remote only, never a regular full-range wall dimmer.
Remote only. Your Mazon's plug-in ITL-F12015A receiver needs to be in working order.

Setup & Pairing

Have the fan's wall switch or breaker within reach before you start.

Insert a fresh 12V A23 into the KUJCE10712 remote with the positive end facing the top, and put the battery door back.
Turn the power to the fan off, then on, using the wall switch or the circuit breaker.
Within 30 seconds, press and hold the 0 (fan off) button for about 5 seconds, until the fan light blinks twice.
Try each speed, then tap and hold the light button to check on, off and dimming.
Pair with any other remote-controlled fans turned off at the wall, so they don't pick up this remote as well.

In the box: KUJCE10712 replacement remote plus a wall mount holder. Add one 12V A23 battery, which isn't included.
