About the Home Decorators Collection AM613A-MBK Remote

Made for the Home Decorators Collection AM613A-MBK, this replacement remote covers every control on the Glenmeadow: 9 speeds plus off, forward and reverse, light on, off and dim, three breeze settings and a 2, 4 or 8-hour timer.

The fan's model number, AM613A-MBK, appears on its label and on the original carton. Match it before you order. The remote pairs to the receiver already in your fan, so nothing needs to be rewired.

Wall holder and screws included
Breeze settings that rise and ease like an outdoor wind
Timer stops the fan after 2, 4 or 8 hours
433.92 MHz radio signal, no need to aim
Light on/off and dimming without the wall switch

Covered porches and patios

Indoor/outdoor fans live in damp places, but the handset does not need to. Mount the wall holder inside the door or under the deepest part of the cover, away from rain and sprinklers. Wipe off condensation if the remote does get wet, and remove the batteries to dry it fully.

Storing a spare handset

If you keep a spare remote in a drawer, take the batteries out and store them separately. Keep the handset away from heat and moisture. When the time comes to use it, put in fresh AAA batteries and run the pairing steps before you expect it to work.

Before you order

For 9-speed DC fans only. It will not run AC fans or 6-speed DC fans.
It does not replace the RH787T, which is a different 6-speed remote.

Setup & Pairing

Setup takes about a minute and needs no tools.

Put two fresh AAA batteries in the remote and leave the battery door off for now.
Move the small slide switch inside the compartment to position 1.
Switch the fan's power off, either at the wall or at the breaker panel, and turn it back on.
Before 30 seconds pass, give the Learn button in the compartment one press.
When the light flashes and the blades begin to spin, pairing is complete. No response? Start over from the power-cycle step.

Tip: fresh batteries make the first try far more likely to work.

In the box: one AM613A-MBK replacement remote plus a wall mount holder and screws (AAA batteries sold separately).
