What breeze mode does

Breeze mode varies the fan speed on its own, rising and easing like a light outdoor wind instead of holding one steady speed. The remote offers three breeze settings. Some people find the changing airflow more relaxing for reading or napping, while others prefer a constant speed. Try each one for a few minutes.

Setup & Pairing

Here is the full pairing sequence.

Install two AAA cells in the remote; you will need the open compartment for the next steps.
Push the slide switch inside the battery area to setting 1.
Turn the fan off at the wall switch or breaker, wait a few seconds, then switch it back on.
Before 30 seconds pass, give the Learn button in the compartment one press.
Success looks like a light flash plus turning blades. Otherwise, repeat from the top.

Tip: check the slide switch first if pairing does not take. Tip: leave the wall switch on after pairing so the receiver keeps power.

In the box: YG493D-EB replacement remote, wall mount with screws. Add two AAA batteries.
