About the Hampton Bay UC7067REVB Reverse Module

When everything on your fan works except reverse, the UC7067REVB module is the likely culprit. This replacement brings back a working reverse button on your remote or wall control. UC7067REVB is printed on the label of the small module inside the fan's switch housing or canopy. It's a small plug-in module, separate from the receiver, inside the switch housing or canopy.

This page is for the UC7067REVB. Plug it in where the old one was and the reverse button works again.

  • Unplug the old one, plug in the new one
  • Works with UC7067-series and FAN28R receivers
  • 120V 60Hz
  • 1-year warranty

Summer and winter direction

In summer, run the blades counterclockwise, seen from below, so the fan pushes air straight down for a cooling breeze. In winter, switch to clockwise on a low speed. That draws air up and moves the warm air near the ceiling down along the walls without a draft. A good habit is to flip direction when you change the thermostat from cooling to heating.

Finding the module

Turn off the breaker, then remove the switch housing or canopy cover. The reverse module is a small separate part plugged into the fan's wiring near the receiver. Take a photo of how it's connected before you unplug it.

Before you order

  • Not for DC-motor fans.
  • This is NOT a receiver. If the fan runs at only one speed, will not turn on, or the light does not work, the receiver needs replacing, not this module.

Setup & Pairing

Have someone hold the ladder while you work.

  1. Shut off the fan's circuit at the breaker.
  2. Remove the switch housing or canopy cover to reach the reverse module.
  3. Check how the old module plugs in, then disconnect it.
  4. Connect the new module exactly as the old one was and secure it.
  5. Reassemble, restore power and test the reverse button on your remote or wall control.

Let the fan stop fully before you test reverse.

In the box: 1 UC7067REVB reverse module.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I need the reverse module or a new receiver?

If everything works except changing blade direction, replace the reverse module. If speeds, light or power are not working, replace the receiver.

Can it add reverse to my fan?

Only if your fan came with a separate reverse module. It can't add reverse to a fan that never had one.

Do I need to set DIP switches?

No. The module has no code switches; the remote and receiver keep their existing settings.

Where do I find my fan's model number?

Look for a sticker on top of the motor housing, or check the owner's manual or the carton. Store order history from Lowe's or Home Depot also lists it.

When will my order ship?

In-stock orders placed by 4 PM, Monday to Friday, ship the same business day.
