About the Hampton Bay SW-T0001 Remote

Our replacement for the SW-T0001 brings back light control for the color-changing LED, plus fan speeds and reverse, so you can run your Hampton Bay fan from across the room again. Slide the battery cover off your old remote and you'll typically find SW-T0001 on the label there or on the back. If your old remote has fan speed, reverse and light keys and a learn button under the battery cover, it matches.

We built this one for fans that shipped with the SW-T0001. Pairing takes a power cycle and a press of the learn button.

Using the learn button

Turn the fan's power off for about 10 seconds, turn it back on, and press the learn button inside the battery compartment right away. The fan or light responds to confirm. If it doesn't, cycle the power and try again a little faster.

Remote only

There's no receiver in the box. This remote pairs with the receiver already in your fan. If the fan won't run from the wall, the receiver may be the problem, so call us first.

Switch the fan off at the wall or breaker and wait about 10 seconds.
