Setup & Pairing

You need a ladder, a screwdriver and a voltage tester.

Switch off the breaker that feeds the fan, then confirm the power is off.
Lower the canopy and disconnect the old receiver, noting which wire went where.
Wire in the new receiver lead for lead, following your photo, and twist each wire nut snug.
Switch off other ceiling fans in the area so they stay out of the pairing.
With the remote ready, turn the power on and hold 0 (fan off) within about 30 seconds until you see the light blink twice.
Cycle through the speeds and the light to confirm everything responds.

Tip: leave the wall switch on, since the receiver needs power to work.
