About the Progress Lighting P2507 Wall Control

The Progress Lighting P2507 is a remote-ready AirPro ceiling fan with a receiver installed in the fan. A new wall control is all it takes to get low, medium and high plus light on/off and dimming back.

Owners of the P2507 can order with confidence once the model sticker matches. If the fan doesn't respond at first, the included instructions show how to match it to the receiver.

Indoor, dry locations

This wall control is rated for dry indoor locations. Don't install it in a shower area, outdoors, or anywhere it may get splashed. On a covered patio or in a damp basement, use a control rated for that location instead, and ask us if you're not sure.

Not a slide control

Progress Lighting also made slide-style wall controls for AirPro fans without a receiver. Those wire straight to the motor and work differently. This one is for remote-ready AirPro fans with a receiver in the fan.

Before you order

Does not include a receiver: your fan must already have the AirPro receiver that came with it.
Not the same as the P2630-30 or P2613-30 slide controls, which are wired for pull-chain fans without a receiver.

Setup & Pairing

Here's the swap, step by step.

Shut off the circuit at the breaker panel.
Remove the old wall control, noting which wire went where.
Make the same connections on the new control, fold the wires in, and fasten it with the included hardware and plate.
Turn the breaker back on and try each speed and the light; if nothing happens, match the control to the receiver using the included instructions.

What tools will I need?

A screwdriver, a wire stripper, a non-contact voltage tester and a few wire nuts cover it. A flashlight helps in a dark wall box.
