About the Minka-Aire F569ORB Remote

Model F569ORB is Minka-Aire's 52-inch Supra ceiling fan in oil-rubbed bronze. A new remote is all it takes to bring back low, medium and high plus light on/off and dimming.

Confirm the model number on the fan's label before you order; this page is for the F569ORB. Match four DIP switches to your receiver; there's no programming.

  • About 30 feet of range
  • Wall bracket and screws included
  • 9V battery, sold separately
  • 304 MHz

If the fan answers only sometimes

Intermittent response usually comes down to three things: a tired battery, distance, or interference from another transmitter. Swap the battery first. Then try from closer to the fan. If that doesn't fix it, choose a new DIP switch pattern and set it on both the receiver and the remote.

Dimming and bulbs

The light key turns the light on and off and dims it. Dimming works with incandescent and dimmable bulbs. If you use LED bulbs, choose ones marked dimmable, or keep a non-dimmable bulb at full brightness.

Before you order

  • Check the model sticker on your fan before you order.
  • Your fan needs a 304 MHz 4-DIP-switch receiver, such as the FAN28R or UC7067FMRX. This remote does not include a receiver.

Setup & Pairing

Have a pen or small screwdriver handy for the switches.

  1. Slide off the remote's battery cover to reach the four code (DIP) switches.
  2. With the power off, check the switches on the receiver in the canopy and note the pattern.
  3. Match the remote's four switches to the receiver exactly; no learning step is involved.
  4. Install a 9V battery and test the light and fan speeds. If nothing happens, recheck that every switch matches.

Take a photo of the final switch pattern and keep it with your fan's manual.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this replacement remote for the Minka-Aire F569ORB fit my ceiling fan?

It fits the 1 model listed under Compatible Models on this page. If your model isn’t listed, call us at (816) 586-8457 and we’ll check for you.

How do I make the new remote talk to my fan?

Open the battery cover and set the four code switches to match the switches on the receiver in your fan. That's the whole setup.

Does it dim the light?

Yes. It turns the light on and off and dims it, with incandescent and dimmable bulbs.

My new remote interferes with the garage door opener. What do I do?

Change the switch pattern on both the remote and the receiver to a new pattern that matches.

Will a new remote fix a fan that won't run at all?

Only if the old remote was the problem. If the fan won't run, hums, or sticks on one speed, the receiver may have failed, and a new remote can't fix that. Call us and we'll help you sort it out.

Why does the fan respond only some of the time?

Start with a fresh battery and try from closer. If that doesn't fix it, choose a new DIP switch pattern and set it on both the receiver and the remote.

When will my order ship?

In-stock orders placed by 4 PM, Monday to Friday, ship the same business day.

What is your return policy?

You can return items within 90 days. Items must be unused and uninstalled, in their original packaging. No restocking fees. Please read our return policy before sending anything back. Questions? Call (816) 586-8457 or email info@fanremotes.com.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Every product we sell comes with a 1-year warranty against defects. If it fails because of a defect, contact us and we’ll send a replacement.
