About the Minka-Aire F569BS Remote

Your Minka-Aire F569BS is the 52-inch Supra ceiling fan in brushed steel. If the original remote broke or disappeared, this one brings back low, medium and high plus light on/off and dimming.

Owners of the F569BS can order with confidence once the model sticker matches. No learning step: set the switches and it works.

  • Works on 304 MHz
  • Low, medium, high and off
  • Switches and dims the light
  • Four DIP switches, 16 codes

Two fans in one room

With two fans close together, give each receiver its own DIP switch pattern and set each remote to match its fan. That way one button never moves both fans at once. A small label on the back of each remote, such as the room or the side of the room, saves guesswork later.

Receivers it works with

This remote talks to 304 MHz receivers with four DIP switches, such as the FAN28R and UC7067FMRX. If the receiver in your canopy has a learn button and no switches, it uses a different system and this remote won't pair.

Before you order

  • Your fan needs a 304 MHz 4-DIP-switch receiver, such as the FAN28R or UC7067FMRX. This remote does not include a receiver.
  • If your fan's receiver has a learn button and no DIP switches, this is not the right remote.

Setup & Pairing

Here's how to match the remote to your fan.

  1. Remove the battery cover on the remote; the four DIP switches are inside.
  2. Find the code switches on your fan's receiver (usually in the canopy) and note their up/down pattern.
  3. Match the remote's four switches to the receiver exactly; no learning step is involved.
  4. Put in a 9V battery and try the speeds and the light. No response means a switch doesn't match.

Once it works, mount the wall bracket and keep the remote on it between uses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this replacement remote for the Minka-Aire F569BS fit my ceiling fan?

It fits the 1 model listed under Compatible Models on this page. If your model isn’t listed, call us at (816) 586-8457 and we’ll check for you.

Is there a learning step?

No. Match the four DIP switches to your receiver, put in a 9V battery and it's ready.

Does it come with a battery?

No. It takes a standard 9V battery.

The remote stopped working. What should I check first?

Put in a fresh 9V battery, then make sure the remote and receiver switch patterns still match.

Should the wall switch stay on?

Yes. The receiver in the fan needs power to hear the remote, so leave the wall switch on and use the remote for everything.

Can I change the code later?

Yes. Set a new pattern on the receiver and on the remote so they match again. That's also the fix if a neighbor's remote moves your fan.

When will my order ship?

In-stock orders placed by 4 PM, Monday to Friday, ship the same business day.

What is your return policy?

You can return items within 90 days. Items must be unused and uninstalled, in their original packaging. No restocking fees. Please read our return policy before sending anything back. Questions? Call (816) 586-8457 or email info@fanremotes.com.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Every product we sell comes with a 1-year warranty against defects. If it fails because of a defect, contact us and we’ll send a replacement.
