About the Casablanca 59512 Receiver

The receiver in a Casablanca 59512 works hard: it powers the light and steps the DC motor through six speeds and two directions. When it wears out, this replacement takes over the same jobs, controlled by the RH787T remote you already own.

Match the model number first; the fan label should show 59512. You wire it in where the old one sat, then press Set on your RH787T to pair.

When the light will not behave

A light that will not turn off, or will not turn on, while the fan still responds can point to a tired receiver. Check the bulbs first, then the receiver, since the receiver is what powers the light.

Pairing with your RH787T

This receiver learns your RH787T remote. Cycle power to the fan, press Set on the remote within 60 seconds, and let the fan run in both directions for about 5 minutes. When it stops on its own, the pair is made.

Before you order

• Not for AC-motor Casablanca fans or Casablanca 4-speed universal receiver systems.
• Receiver only. The remote is not included; it works with the RH787T remote.

Setup & Pairing

1. Turn off power to the fan at the breaker, not just the wall switch.
2. Loosen the canopy screws and slide the canopy down to expose the receiver.
3. Snap a picture of every connection before you unhook the old unit.
4. Connect the replacement receiver the same way, keeping the connections secure, and tuck it neatly back into the canopy.
5. Reinstall the canopy and restore power at the breaker.
6. Pair it: within 60 seconds of power-up, press Set on the RH787T, then let the fan finish its back-and-forth setup run of about 5 minutes.
7. Try every button to confirm the fan and light respond.

Tip: if pairing fails, cycle power again and press Set sooner.
