Lost the UC7225T remote that ran your Home Decorators Collection fan? Our replacement puts the whole set of controls back in one handset: 9 speeds, reverse, a dimmable light, a fan-off timer and 3 breeze modes.

UC7225T is the number printed on the label of the original handset, usually inside the battery compartment. If yours reads UC7225T, this is the remote for your Kensgrove, Celene or Zolman Pike fan. It pairs with the Learn button, so there is nothing to wire.

Where the fan's model label hides

Most ceiling fans carry a model sticker on top of the motor housing, near where the downrod enters. Stand on a sturdy step ladder with the fan off and use a flashlight. The same model number usually appears on the carton and on the first page of the owner's manual, so check those first if climbing is a hassle.

Reverse for summer comfort

In warm months, set the blades to spin counterclockwise when you look up at them. That pushes a column of air straight down and creates a wind-chill effect on your skin. Pair it with a middle speed for steady comfort, and switch to a higher speed on the hottest afternoons.

Setup & Pairing

Put two fresh AAA batteries in the UC7225T replacement remote and leave the battery door off for now.
Move the small slide switch inside the compartment to position 1.
Turn the fan off at the wall switch or breaker, wait a few seconds, then switch it back on.
Right away, while the 30-second window is open, press Learn and let go.
The fan answers by flashing its light and starting the blades. If it stays still, try the sequence once more.

Tip: check the slide switch first if pairing does not take. Tip: if you miss the 30-second window, just cut the power again and repeat.

In the box: one UC7225T replacement remote plus a wall mount holder and screws (AAA batteries sold separately).
