About the Harbor Breeze 43366 Remote

When the remote for your Harbor Breeze Providence goes missing, the fan and its LED light are stuck wherever they were left. This replacement for the 43366 brings back three fan speeds, light on/off and dimming, plus color temperature on color-changing LEDs.

If your fan's model label shows 43366, this remote fits. Put in the A23 battery, power-cycle the fan, press LEARN, and you're back in control.

DIP switches or LEARN button?

Slide open your old remote's battery cover. A row of tiny on/off switches means it's a DIP-switch remote, which is a different design. This remote has a single LEARN button instead and the fan's receiver learns its code, so check before you order.

Making the most of three speeds

Low is quiet enough for sleeping and reading. Medium is the everyday setting for most rooms. High is for hot afternoons or clearing the air after cooking. Since the remote makes changing speed easy, it's worth adjusting through the day.

Setup & Pairing

Put a new A23 battery in the remote, matching the + mark.
Turn off power to the Harbor Breeze 43366 at the wall switch or breaker for about 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
Right away, within the 30-second window, press the LEARN button in the battery compartment.
Watch for the fan or light to respond. No response? Power-cycle again and press LEARN a little sooner.
Check the speeds, light and color buttons, and put the holder up by the switch.
