About the Home Decorators Collection AM382B-BN Remote

At 23 in., the Brette II is a compact fan for small rooms, porches and nooks, often hung where a pull chain is awkward to reach. This replacement restores the AM382B-BN's three speeds, off, light on/off and dimming.

It is made for the Home Decorators Collection AM382B-BN. Check the label on the fan or the box for AM382B-BN, then copy the receiver's four DIP switches onto the remote.

No aiming needed

The remote sends a radio signal in the 304 MHz band, so it doesn't need a clear line to the fan. Use it from the couch, the bed or the doorway. Short range almost always means a weak battery.

Write down your code

Once the fan responds, write the switch pattern on a strip of tape inside the battery door. If the remote is ever lost again, or you want a second one, you will have the code without climbing a ladder.

Before you order

Brette II fans with Wi-Fi or voice control use a different system. This remote is for the version with a 4-DIP-switch receiver.
Your fan needs a matching 4-DIP-switch receiver, such as the UC7067FMRX or FAN28R. This remote does not include a receiver.

Setup & Pairing

Turn off power to the fan at the breaker.
Find the four DIP switches on the receiver inside the fan canopy.
Copy that pattern onto the switches under the battery door of the remote.
Put the canopy back, restore power and check every button.
Put in a 12V A23 battery and close the cover.

Tip: write the code on tape inside the battery door once it works.

In the box: Replacement remote for the AM382B-BN fan; wall mount; mounting screws. Add one 12V A23 battery.
