About the Home Decorators Collection YG749-BRB Remote

Lost the remote for the Home Decorators Collection YG749-BRB? This replacement gives you full control of the Triplex again: nine fan speeds, forward and reverse, light on, off and dim, plus a 2, 4 or 8-hour timer.

Before ordering, confirm the label on your fan says YG749-BRB. It is usually on the motor housing near the downrod. The remote pairs to the receiver already in your fan, so nothing needs to be rewired.

Reverse for winter warmth

When the heat is on, flip the fan to clockwise rotation and choose one of the lowest speeds. The blades gently pull air up and push the warm layer near the ceiling down the walls without a noticeable draft. Rooms with tall ceilings feel the biggest difference.

Setup & Pairing

Here is the full pairing sequence.

Put two fresh AAA batteries in the remote and leave the battery door off for now.
Push the slide switch inside the battery area to setting 1.
Switch the fan's power off, either at the wall or at the breaker panel, and turn it back on.
Right away, while the 30-second window is open, press Learn and let go.
Success looks like a light flash plus turning blades. Otherwise, repeat from the top.
Put the cover back and hang the remote on its wall holder.

Tip: if you miss the 30-second window, just cut the power again and repeat. Tip: pair one fan at a time if two fans share a circuit.

In the box: one YG749-BRB replacement remote plus a wall mount holder and screws (AAA batteries sold separately).
