Model CAF48BNK5LRC is the brushed nickel Bayou Creek 48-in with an LED light. If the remote has been lost or its buttons no longer respond, our replacement gives you speed and light control again without climbing up to the fan.

Setup & Pairing

Have the fan's wall switch or breaker within reach before you start.

Put one 12V A23 battery in the new remote, positive end toward the top, and close the cover.
Switch the fan off at the wall, or at the breaker if it has no switch, wait a few seconds, and switch it back on.
Right away, while the 30-second window is open, hold the 0 button for about 5 seconds and watch for two blinks.
Check the speeds with 3, 2 and 1, and hold the light button to see it dim.
Other fans on? Switch them off first, or they may start answering this remote as well.
