About the Casablanca C45G695B Receiver

This is a canopy receiver for the Casablanca C45G695B. It replaces the original when the fan no longer answers its remote, and it restores six DC speeds, reverse and the light. Your existing RH787T remote pairs with it, so there is nothing else to buy.

Match the model number first; the fan label should show C45G695B. It installs in the canopy and learns your RH787T remote after a power cycle.

Leave the wall switch on

The receiver needs power to hear the remote. If the wall switch is off, the fan will seem dead no matter how good the receiver is. A switch guard or a small label keeps people from turning it off by habit.

Six speeds plus off

DC motors give you six speed steps instead of the usual three. The low speeds are quiet enough for sleeping and the top speeds move a lot of air on hot days. The new receiver restores the full range from your remote.

Before you order

• Not for AC-motor Casablanca fans or Casablanca 4-speed universal receiver systems.
• Receiver only. The remote is not included; it works with the RH787T remote.

Setup & Pairing

1. Switch off the breaker that feeds the fan.
2. Drop the canopy so you can see the receiver inside.
3. Snap a picture of every connection before you unhook the old unit.
4. Make the same connections on the new receiver, check each one, and fit it back in the canopy.
5. Raise the canopy, tighten its screws and turn the breaker back on.
6. Within 60 seconds of power returning, press Set on your RH787T. The fan runs in both directions for about 5 minutes, then stops when pairing is done.
7. Check off, all six speeds, reverse and the light.

Tip: if pairing fails, cycle power again and press Set sooner.
