About the Harbor Breeze BRD60MBK6LR Receiver

Model BRD60MBK6LR is the 60-in Bradbury fan from Harbor Breeze with a matte black finish and built-in LED light. It was sold at Lowe's as item 1060568. The receiver is the small box in the canopy that turns remote signals into fan and light commands, and it is the part that usually quits first. This replacement connects with wire nuts and restores three speeds, off and a dimmable light.

The model label on top of the motor housing should read BRD60MBK6LR; if it does, you are in the right place. It pairs with learning-code remotes like our TR214D.

Test before you finish

Before the last canopy screw goes in, run each speed for a moment, turn the light on and off and try dimming. Fixing a loose connection is much easier now than after everything is buttoned up. Then secure the canopy and enjoy the fan.

DIP-switch remotes are a different system

Some older fan remotes have a row of tiny switches inside the battery cover that must match the receiver. This receiver does not use them. It learns a compatible remote instead, so a DIP-switch remote will not pair with it.

Before you order

Some fans came with a plug-in receiver that has a square plug instead of wire-nut leads. Contact us if yours has a plug.

Setup & Pairing

Switch off the breaker that feeds the BRD60MBK6LR, then confirm the power is off.
Loosen the canopy screws, slide the canopy down and take a photo of the old receiver wiring before you disconnect it.
Hook up the replacement receiver with wire nuts exactly as the old one was wired, then tuck it into the canopy.
Power down any other nearby fans first; otherwise they could pair to the same remote.
Turn the breaker back on. Within about 30 seconds, press and hold the remote's 0 (fan off) button until the light blinks twice.
Run all three speeds and try the light and dimming.

Tip: if the light does not blink, turn the power off for a few seconds and try again.
