About the Harbor Breeze BRD48OSB6LR Remote

The BRD48OSB6LR is the bronze finish of the Bradbury 48-in LED fan. Remotes for smaller rooms tend to get carried around and lost. Ours replaces the missing one with the same simple layout: three speeds, an off button and a light key that dims.

Two blinks, explained

The fan light is your feedback during pairing. Two quick blinks mean the receiver has stored the remote's code. If you see no blink, the pairing window probably closed or the battery isn't making good contact. Recheck the battery, cycle the power and try again straight away.

Setup & Pairing

Slide the battery door open, fit a 12V A23 with the positive end at the top, then snap the door shut.
Have other fans in the house? Keep them switched off during pairing so only this one learns the remote.
Switch the fan off at the wall, or at the breaker if it has no switch, wait a few seconds, and switch it back on.
Inside the next 30 seconds, hold down 0 for roughly 5 seconds. The light blinks twice when it has learned the remote.
Try each speed, then tap and hold the light button to check on, off and dimming.

In the box: BRD48OSB6LR replacement remote with a wall holder. You'll need one 12V A23 battery, not included.
