About the Home Decorators Collection AM676-MBK-B Remote

Made for the Home Decorators Collection AM676-MBK-B, this replacement remote covers every control on the Lincolnshire: 9 speeds plus off, forward and reverse, light on, off and dim, three breeze settings and a 2, 4 or 8-hour timer.

Check the model sticker on top of the motor housing, or the box and manual, and make sure it reads AM676-MBK-B. Pairing takes about a minute with the Learn button, and there are no DIP switches.

Wobble and hum are not remote issues

If the fan wobbles or hums, the remote is not the cause. Wobble usually comes from loose blade screws or blades out of balance; a balancing kit fixes most cases. A light hum can come from the motor or a loose canopy. The remote only sends commands for speed, direction, light and timer.

Handset or wall control?

This is a handheld remote, but the included holder lets it act like a wall control too. Leave it on the holder by the door for everyday use, or take it to the couch or bed. Either way, the fan's wall switch should stay on.

Before you order

AC fans and 6-speed DC fans need a different remote.
The RH787T is a different 6-speed remote, and this one does not replace it.

Setup & Pairing

Keep the fan in sight so you can see it confirm the pairing.

Slide off the battery cover of the remote, load two AAA batteries, and keep the cover off.
Move the small slide switch inside the compartment to position 1.
Switch the fan's power off, either at the wall or at the breaker panel, and turn it back on.
Within 30 seconds, press and release the Learn button inside the battery compartment.
Watch for the light to flash and the blades to start turning. That means it has paired; if not, repeat the steps.

Tip: check the slide switch first if pairing does not take.
