About the Casablanca 59143 Receiver

Lost control of your Casablanca 59143? If the remote is fine, the receiver in the canopy is the part to replace. This one gives you back six speeds plus off, forward and reverse, and on/off light dimming.

Your fan's model number is on the motor housing label; when it reads 59143, this receiver is made for it. You wire it in where the old one sat, then press Set on your RH787T to pair.

Learns your remote in a short pairing step
Light on/off and dimming
Works with the RH787T remote (not included)
Forward and reverse for summer and winter

Test each function

Once paired, run through every button: off, all six speeds, reverse and the light with dimming. If something does not respond, repeat the pairing steps once before checking the wiring.

Shut off the breaker

Canopy wiring connects straight to household power. Turn off the breaker for the fan, then try the wall switch to confirm it is dead before you touch anything. Put tape over the breaker so nobody flips it back while you work.

Before you order

Not a universal receiver. It is made for Casablanca DC fans that came with the RH787T remote.
Receiver only. The remote is not included; it works with the RH787T remote.

Setup & Pairing

Switch off the breaker that feeds the fan.
Lower the canopy of your fan to reach the old receiver.
Snap a picture of every connection before you unhook the old unit.
Make the same connections on the new receiver, check each one, and fit it back in the canopy.
Put the canopy back in place, then switch the breaker on.
Press the Set button on your RH787T within 60 seconds of restoring power, and wait about 5 minutes while the fan runs both ways.
Check off, all six speeds, reverse and the light.

Tip: pair with any other nearby fan switched off.

In the box: Replacement receiver for the 59143. Remote not included.
