About the Home Decorators Collection 54727 Remote

The 54727 is part of the Mercer 52-in integrated LED line. When its remote is lost or broken, this replacement brings back three fan speeds, a dedicated off button and light on/off with dimming.

Closing up the canopy

After reading the receiver, tuck its wires neatly back into the canopy so none get pinched, then refit the canopy screws. Restore power at the breaker and test each speed and the light before you put the ladder away.

If an LED light flickers

LED lights sometimes flicker or hum near the bottom of the dimming range. Bring the brightness up a step and the flicker usually stops. If your fan takes screw-in bulbs, make sure each one is labeled dimmable.

Your fan needs a matching 4-DIP-switch receiver, such as the UC7067FMRX or FAN28R. This remote does not include a receiver.

Setup & Pairing

Fit the A23 battery and snap the cover shut.
Cut power to the fan at the breaker before you start.
Lower the canopy and find the DIP switch settings on the receiver.
Set the four switches inside the new remote to match the receiver exactly.
Restore power, then test the fan speeds and dimming.

Tip: write the code on tape inside the battery door once it works.
