Will This Remote Fit?
This remote is made to replace the 43351. Check the label on your old remote (often inside the battery cover) — if it reads 43351, this is the one you need.

About the Harbor Breeze 43351 Remote
Searching for a 43351 remote? This Harbor Breeze replacement has High, Medium and Low buttons, a separate fan off button and a light button, with a Learn button and D/CFL switch inside the battery door. It has no reverse button.
Before you order, compare it with your old remote. If yours matches, pairing takes about a minute. If it doesn't, or the old remote is gone, contact us at (816) 586-8457 or info@fanremotes.com with your fan's model number.
- Switches and dims the light; a D/CFL slide sets on/off only for non-dimmable bulbs
- 315 MHz RF signal, so you don't have to point it at the fan
- 1-year warranty from our team
Leave the wall switch on
A remote-controlled fan needs steady power from its wall switch. If someone flips the switch off, the remote has nothing to talk to. Many owners put a guard over the switch, or simply ask the family to leave it up and use the remote instead.
Dimming LED bulbs without flicker
Flicker or buzzing at low settings usually means the bulbs aren't rated for dimming. Use bulbs labeled dimmable and keep the D/CFL switch on D. If you'd rather keep non-dimmable bulbs, slide it to CFL; the light button then simply turns the light on and off.
Before you order
- Not a universal remote, so check your fan's model or your old remote's label before ordering.
Setup & Pairing
- Cut power to neighboring fans of the same type first; otherwise they may pair as well.
- Open the battery door of the remote and insert one A23 12-volt battery the right way round.
- Cycle the power: off at the switch or breaker, then on again.
- Quickly, within the 30-second window, hold Learn in the battery compartment for around 5 seconds.
- The fan starts on low with the light off once it has learned the remote. If not, cycle the power and repeat.
- If your owner's manual says to hold High and Low together for 5 seconds after restoring power, that method works too.
Tip: have a helper at the wall switch so you can press Learn the moment power comes back.
In the box: one replacement remote, a wall holder plus screws, and printed instructions. The A23 battery is sold separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the right remote for my 43351 search?
Compare it with your old remote first. If the buttons or label look different, contact us at (816) 586-8457 or info@fanremotes.com before ordering.
My fan's light changes color. Will this work for 43351?
Probably not. Fans with color-changing or adjustable-white lights use a different remote, so contact us before ordering.
How many speeds does it have?
Three: high, medium and low, plus a separate off button.
Can I turn the fan off and keep the light on?
Yes. The fan off button and the light button are separate.
How do I change the battery?
Open the battery door, put in a fresh 12V A23 with + and - matching the marks, and close it. You usually won't need to pair again.
Does the remote work through walls?
It uses radio, so it doesn't need line of sight, but it's meant for use in the same room as the fan.
When will my order ship?
In-stock orders placed by 4 PM, Monday to Friday, ship the same business day.
What is your return policy?
You can return items within 90 days. Items must be unused and uninstalled, in their original packaging. No restocking fees. Please read our return policy before sending anything back. Questions? Call (816) 586-8457 or email info@fanremotes.com.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every product we sell comes with a 1-year warranty against defects. If it fails because of a defect, contact us and we’ll send a replacement.
