About the Harbor Breeze 43350 Remote

When the remote for your Harbor Breeze Boltz III goes missing, the fan and its LED light are stuck wherever they were left. This replacement for the 43350 brings back three fan speeds, light on/off and dimming, plus color temperature on color-changing LEDs. This is the 52-inch brushed nickel version, sold at Lowe's as item 5497046.

Your fan's model number is on the label on top of the motor housing and on the box it came in. If it reads 43350, order with confidence. No DIP switches here: just power-cycle the fan and press LEARN.

Caring for the remote

Wipe the remote with a dry or barely damp cloth, and never spray cleaner straight onto it. Take the battery out first for a deeper clean. Keep it away from sinks and drinks, since one spill can leave the buttons sticky or dead.

Where the remote's number is printed

Turn the old remote over and check the label on the back, then slide off the battery cover and look inside. The number is usually printed in one of those two spots. If the label is worn away, the fan's model number works just as well for choosing a replacement.

Not for Harbor Breeze Mac II fans, which use a different remote.
No receiver is included; it pairs with the one in your fan.

Setup & Pairing

Install one 12V A23 battery in the remote.
Switch off the Harbor Breeze 43350 for around 10 seconds using the wall switch or breaker, then restore power.
Right away, within the 30-second window, press the LEARN button in the battery compartment.
The fan or light responds to confirm pairing. If not, repeat the power cycle and press LEARN again within 30 seconds.
Try all three speeds, the light and dimming, then hang the wall holder.

In the box: Replacement remote for the Harbor Breeze 43350, a wall holder and its screws. Add one A23 battery.
