About the Harbor Breeze 43326 Remote

Harbor Breeze sells the 70-inch Hydra ceiling fan as model 43326, and it carries an LED light. This remote gives it a 2, 4 or 8-hour timer, breeze mode and six fan speeds again, without changing anything in the fan. It's built for DC-motor fans like the Hydra and pairs with the fan's learning-code receiver.

This page covers the Harbor Breeze 43326 only, so match the sticker and you're set. Put in two AAA batteries, cycle the power and hold Learn.

  • One-touch reverse
  • Away mode cycles the light
  • Learn-button pairing, no DIP switches
  • Wall bracket and screws included

Made for DC motors

DC-motor fans use less power than older AC fans and offer finer speed control, which is why this remote has six speeds instead of three. It won't run an AC-motor fan. If you're not sure which you have, the motor label or manual will say DC.

Light delay and away mode

Light delay gives you a little time to leave the room before the light goes out. Away mode cycles the light on and off while you're out so your home looks occupied. Both live on the remote, so there's nothing to set up at the fan.

Before you order

  • Not every Harbor Breeze DC fan uses this remote. Some Mazon and Saratoga models came with a different remote, so check the number on your old one.
  • For DC-motor ceiling fans only. It will not run AC-motor fans.

Setup & Pairing

There are no DIP switches; the remote learns the receiver.

  1. Install two fresh AAA batteries in the remote.
  2. Turn power to the fan off at the wall switch or breaker, then turn it back on.
  3. Straight away, hold the Learn button in the battery compartment for a few seconds until the fan reacts.

Then try all six speeds, the light and reverse.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this replacement remote for the Harbor Breeze 43326 fit my ceiling fan?

It fits the 1 model listed under Compatible Models on this page. If your model isn’t listed, call us at (816) 586-8457 and we’ll check for you.

What battery does it use?

Two AAA batteries. They are not included.

Is there a DIP switch to set?

No. It pairs with the Learn button inside the battery compartment right after a power cycle.

What timer settings does it have?

2, 4 or 8 hours.

Why does the fan respond only some of the time?

Start with a fresh battery and try from closer. If it still drops out, pair it again: cycle the power and hold the Learn button until the fan responds.

What if I miss the pairing window?

Nothing is lost. Turn the power off at the wall, wait about 10 seconds, turn it back on and try the pairing step again.

When will my order ship?
