About the Monte Carlo 3ARR68MBK Remote

Model 3ARR68MBK is printed on the label of this Monte Carlo Arcade 68-in. Big DC fans like the Arcade have six speeds, and without the remote you lose all of them. This replacement pairs with the fan's RH786R receiver in a few minutes and comes with a wall bracket so it stays put.

Before you order, confirm the fan's label shows 3ARR68MBK. There are no DIP switches to match; the receiver learns the remote after a quick power cycle. Inside the battery door, a small switch picks dimming for incandescent bulbs or on/off for LEDs.

Not for AC fans

AC-motor fans use different receivers that do not respond to this remote. If you are not sure which motor your fan has, check the manual or the motor label before ordering.

Reverse for summer and winter

In summer, run the blades counterclockwise, looking up, to push air down for a cooling breeze. In winter, switch to clockwise on a low speed to pull air up and move warm air down the walls. With this remote you change direction without a ladder.

Setup & Pairing

Switch the fan's power off at the wall or breaker, then switch it back on.
Within 60 seconds of restoring power, press the Set button on the 3ARR68MBK remote.
Let the fan run in both directions for about 5 minutes. When it stops on its own, pairing is complete.
Pick dim or on/off with the switch under the battery cover to suit your bulbs.
Hang the remote in its wall bracket.

Tip: if pairing fails, cycle power again and press Set sooner.
