About the Harbor Breeze KUJCE10612 Remote

A dropped, chewed or simply worn-out KUJCE10612 doesn't mean a new fan. This remote restores dimming, reverse, breeze, timer and six speeds. You'll usually find KUJCE10612 printed after the letters FCC on a sticker on the back, or molded into the plastic beside the battery. The original takes two AAA batteries and has a Learn button inside the battery compartment, with keys for six speeds, reverse, the light and the timer.

It's made to stand in for the KUJCE10612 on Harbor Breeze fans. It learns your fan's receiver in a couple of minutes.

  • Pairs with the Learn button
  • Wall mount bracket with screws
  • 6 speeds + off
  • Light on/off and dimming

Getting full range

This remote talks to the fan by radio, so you don't need to aim it, and the signal passes through the canopy and light glass. Range drops as the battery weakens, and large metal objects between you and the fan can cut it down. If it only works up close, a new battery fixes it most of the time.

Breeze mode

Breeze mode varies the airflow for a natural, changing feel instead of a steady stream. It's a nice setting for sleeping or a warm evening. Press any speed key to go back to steady air.

Before you order

  • For DC-motor ceiling fans only. It will not run AC-motor fans.
  • Not for fans that use a DIP-switch remote. This remote pairs with a learning-code receiver using the Learn button.

Setup & Pairing

Here's how to pair it with your DC fan.

  1. Load two AAA batteries.
  2. Turn power to the fan off at the wall switch or breaker, then turn it back on.
  3. Without waiting, press and hold Learn inside the battery compartment until the fan answers.

If nothing happens, cycle the power and hold Learn again a little sooner.

In the box: KUJCE10612 replacement remote and wall mount bracket with screws.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are batteries included?

No. It takes two standard AAA batteries.

How do I pair it?

Put in the batteries, turn the fan's power off and back on, then hold the Learn button inside the battery compartment for a few seconds until the fan responds.

Does it dim the light?

Yes. It turns the light on and off and dims it. It also has a light delay and an away mode.

How long does the battery last?

It depends on how often you use it, but a fresh battery usually lasts a long time. Replace it when the range shrinks or the fan stops answering from across the room.

What if my old remote shows a different number?

Check the label on the back and inside the battery cover. If it doesn't match this page, search our store for that number or contact us at (816) 586-8457 or info@fanremotes.com.
