Setup & Pairing

No DIP switches to set. Follow these steps with the fan in view.

Slide off the battery cover of the remote, load two AAA batteries, and keep the cover off.
Set the compartment's slide switch to position 1.
Turn the fan off at the wall switch or breaker, wait a few seconds, then switch it back on.
Right away, while the 30-second window is open, press Learn and let go.
When the light flashes and the blades begin to spin, pairing is complete. No response? Start over from the power-cycle step.

Tip: if you miss the 30-second window, just cut the power again and repeat.

In the box: YG656-BN replacement remote, wall mount with screws. Add two AAA batteries.
