The AM175LEDEB is a Fortston 60 in. DC ceiling fan from Home Decorators Collection, and it depends on its handheld remote for almost everything. This replacement handles speed, reverse, the light and dimmer, the timer and breeze modes in one unit.

Your fan's Espresso Bronze finish helps confirm the model, but the label is the final word. It should show AM175LEDEB. Once it matches, setup takes about a minute.

No need to aim it

When the light flashes and the blades begin to spin, pairing is complete. No response? Start over from the power-cycle step.
Close the cover and try a few buttons to confirm everything responds.

Tip: mount the wall holder after you confirm the remote works. Tip: pair one fan at a time if two fans share a circuit.
