About the Harbor Breeze TG44LW3D1RC Remote

Model TG44LW3D1RC is a white Beach Creek 44-in with an LED light. If the remote that came with it is gone, the fan is stuck on one speed and the light can't be dimmed. This replacement handles both from anywhere in the room.

Fan direction through the seasons

This remote handles speed and light. Blade direction is set at the fan itself; on many fans that's a small slide switch on the motor housing, and your manual shows where yours is. In summer, run the blades counterclockwise for a cooling breeze. In winter, switch to clockwise on low to push warm air down from the ceiling without a draft.

LED flicker while dimming

If the light flickers or buzzes as you dim it, check the wall switch first. These fans belong on a plain on/off switch, not a full-range wall dimmer, and the remote should do all the dimming. Set the wall switch fully on, then use the light button. If flicker continues at every level, the light kit itself may need attention.

Insert a fresh 12V A23 into the new remote with the positive end facing the top, and put the battery door back.
Flip the fan's wall switch off and on again. No switch? Use the breaker.
Right away, while the 30-second window is open, hold the 0 button for about 5 seconds and watch for two blinks.
Try each speed, then tap and hold the light button to check on, off and dimming.
If other fans with learning receivers are nearby, switch them off at the wall while you pair so they don't learn this remote too.

In the box: TG44LW3D1RC replacement remote with a wall holder. You'll need one 12V A23 battery, not included.
