The Mazon receiver

Mazon 44-in flush mount fans use a plug-in ITL-F12015A receiver, a square module that connects at the motor. If the fan ignores every remote after a careful pairing, that receiver may have failed. Because it plugs in, it's a straightforward swap, so look for the square plug before you order a replacement receiver.

Matching letters and dashes

Remote numbers are easy to misread. A 0 and an O, or a 1 and an I, can look alike in small print. Compare the number on your old remote with this page character by character, dashes included. If something doesn't line up, send us a photo and our team will take a look.

Before you order

Older Mazon hugger fans whose remote has a Learn button pair a different way. Check your old remote first.
Receivers from other remote families won't learn it. Match your number before you order.

Setup & Pairing

Setup takes about a minute and needs no tools.

Slide the battery door open, fit a 12V A23 with the positive end at the top, then snap the door shut.
Tip: turn off nearby fans before pairing, since their receivers would learn this remote too.
Turn the fan's power off at the wall switch or breaker, then turn it back on.
Within half a minute, hold 0 for about 5 seconds; the fan light blinks twice to show it's paired.
Press each speed button in turn and toggle the light to confirm the pairing took.

In the box: 2AQZU-18018 replacement remote plus a wall mount holder. Add one 12V A23 battery, which isn't included.
