Model TG44LW3D1RC is the 44-in Beach Creek fan from Harbor Breeze with a white finish and built-in LED light. It was sold at Lowe's as item 915542. If the fan runs on one speed, will not shut off or ignores the remote, the receiver in the canopy is the likely culprit. This receiver wires in at the canopy and puts speed and light control back where they belong.

If the light flickers when dimmed

Flicker at low dim levels usually comes from the bulbs, not the receiver. If your fan takes screw-in bulbs, use ones marked dimmable, and use the same type in every socket. Mixing old and new bulbs, or LED and incandescent, can cause uneven dimming.

Light works but the fan does not (or the reverse)

When only half the fan responds, look at the simple things first. Try a known-good bulb or check that the light kit plug is seated. If the light and bulbs check out and one function still ignores the remote, the receiver's switching for that output has likely failed.

Before you order

Setup & Pairing

Shut off the TG44LW3D1RC circuit at the breaker before you start.
Lower the canopy and disconnect the old receiver, noting which wire went where.
Make the same connections with the new receiver, tug-test each wire nut and fold the wires in neatly.
Make sure other fans with learning receivers are switched off, so only this one learns the remote.
Turn the breaker back on. Within about 30 seconds, press and hold the remote's 0 (fan off) button until the light blinks twice.
Test each fan speed and the light.

Tip: if the light does not blink, turn the power off for a few seconds and try again.

I have two fans with the same remote. How do I keep them separate?
