Turn the fan's power off at the wall switch or breaker for about 10 seconds.
Switch the power back on.
Immediately press the learn button inside the battery compartment.
The fan or light responds to confirm pairing; test the fan and light buttons.

Pair again if the receiver is ever replaced.
